Exit Criteria
 |
 |
Tenants have the right to willingly vacate a Fokus unit at any time.
Not withstanding, it is desirable that they give three months
written notice to the Steering Committee Chairperson prior to
vacating. A tenant may be asked to leave under the following
conditions:
-
Does not uphold the entrance
requirements.
-
Does not fall within the care mandate
of the Continuing Care Branch.
-
If in the judgment of the Unit, the
individual tenant no longer falls within the established care
delivery system of the Unit.
-
Fails to abide by the democratic
decisions of the Unit.
-
If through physical or mental
deterioration the tenant loses the ability to direct staff or
manage their own affairs or becomes a danger to themselves.
-
If the tenant acts in a manner
detrimental to FH.
-
If the tenant places unrealistic or
dangerous expectations on staff.
-
If the tenant through inappropriate
social behaviour or through physical deterioration, negatively
affects the functioning of the Unit or the Organization as a
whole. (Physical deterioration means: ever increasing amounts of
staff time to the point where the functioning of the unit or other
individuals in FMI is jeopardized.)
All applicants must accept these
criteria and agree to abide by them.
